ive been using some other sites for links and one site when you put links up the link automatically goes green and has a tick at the beginning to show that the link is live and goes red with a line through it when it is dead.. maybe something like this wud make it easier for every1 too see when links are dead if you could do something like that...
also...
instead of the mods and uploaders posting in which ever sections they want maybe give them certain sections to monitor and clean up bit like me with bluray makes it soo much easier if 1 person is posting and handling certain sections although i think new releases and tv should stay normal where every1 can post.
also i think that posts with downloads maybe we shouldnt allow people to post random things this is where a thank you button comes in... people should only post if there is a problem with links or the download..
i think a chatbox would be a good thing as i said i know this from using other sites every1 gets chatting and gets to know each other and then people wont write random messages on posts.
i think these will make it so much easier to manage the site and to clean it up too, but yeah i think cracking down abit more on what members post, just seems silly to have about 100 people putting  or silly smileys so if we issue warnings for people that do it and create a thank you button and posting is only to say something is wrong will defo clean the site up more.. mite take a while for us to get rid of most of the messages but will be worth it in the end....so yeah ive found these things work really well for other sites. Those are all some good points haha. I'd need to see if I could find a script to check for links if they are down.. The main problem is I don't have all the tech knowledge for that and not enough time to learn it  lol I also don't have too much time to monitor the site like I used to be able to since work has been increasingly busy, but I try to make sure things are running still at least. Im toying with the idea of starting the site over (although leaving the current stuff here at least for awhile) and then fine tuning it by starting from scratch and also instead of using message board design, maybe do it blog style, but make it a private blog so only members can download.

Hey Jason, first of all, AWSOME JOB... Been here for some time and love coming here to see what's new. This brings me to my suggestion.
Would there be a way of adding a Sort By topic of Original Post Date? What I mean is, when I come in, it is always sorted by the latest reply post. What I would like to have is the ability to sort by the date the thread originated. This way, the latest posted videos will be first, instead of having to wade through all of those "Thanks" posts... from those wanting to get thier post counts up. I don't care what they have to say, I just want to see what the latest movies are...
